Introducing the all new Advanced Reporting feature for B2B Teams!

>2 Minute Tutorial Video<

ITProTV has been working on an Analytics engine that will result in better information being more readily available. The first new feature is Advanced Reporting.

Advanced Reporting capabilities include:

  1. Timebox viewing data while building the report, not in Excel
  2. Charts in the UI
  3. Recurring reports - reports regularly refreshed with weekly, monthly, quarterly viewing data

Advanced Reports are the best way to visualize your team’s activity and progress within ITProTV. Static reports can be generated using a preset or custom time frame. The chart allows you to see your team’s utilization at a glance over the period of time you select. All reports are available for download as a CSV file.

Walk-Through:

To get started, click the Request a New Report button

Step 1: Pick the type of report you need:

A Static Report is a report where once it is built the data does not change. It can be called a one-off report but we give you the ability to save in it case you need to reference it again.

A Recurring Report dynamically updates at certain intervals for you with new data on a cadence. We have provided 3 out of box Recurring reports for you: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly. Recurring reports can have recipients who are sent email alerts when the report has been refreshed with new data/charts.

Step 2 of creating a Static Report:

Select the time parameters. We offer a few pre-built ones or you can select your own

Here is the custom date selector view:

Step 3: Naming your Report

We pre-build a name, but you can customize it for your needs to stand out

Step 4: Save Report

You are done and you can now download, chart or delete your report as needed!

Recipients must be Seat Admins for security purposes.

The Weekly Report refreshes at Midnight UTC Monday mornings and send an email alert to anyone on the Recipients list. The Weekly Report will contain data for the full prior week. Example: If the admin pulls up the weekly report on Tuesday the 15th, it will contain data from Midnight Monday the 7th- to 11:59pm on 13th, the last full prior week.

The Monthly Report refreshes at Midnight UTC on the 1st and send an email alert to anyone on the Recipients list. The Monthly Report will contain data for the last full prior month. Example: If the admin pulls up the Monthly Report on September the 15thth, it will contain data from Midnight UTC August 1 – 11:59PM August 31 UTC, the last full prior month.

All Recurring Reports will be sent at 12:00 p.m. UTC.

Step 2 of creating a Recurring Report:

Select the time parameters. We offer a few pre-built parameters and plan to enhance these offerings such as Prior 30 days.

Step 3: Naming your Report

We pre-build a name, but you can customize it for your needs to stand out

Step 4: Save Report

You are done and you can now download, chart or delete your report as needed!

Tips:

If you want a specific employee’s up to minute viewing history, you would go to the individual user’s activity page. Enhanced Reporting is a powerful tool for heavier loads, although we will add filtering and drill down capability as a future enhancement.

If you want to view all history for your company in a CSV download, otherwise known as a data dump, use the All Activity download instead of the Analytics engine of Enhanced Reporting.
